Barrios 18 also know as the 18th Street gang, is the Rival of MS-13 and is the Largest Youth gang in within the Americas. Barrios 18, like MS-13 originated in Los Angeles and many members were refugees from the Salvadoran Civil War, However unlike MS-13, they were a gang for a much larger period of time. The gangs roots can be traced back to the 1950s, but they would begin to earn there infamy in the 1980s after they would brutalize a motorist in a savage attack.

Barrios 18 would have a strong presents in the Southern California and Los Angeles. No matter what American Law enforcement would attempt handicap or cripple there gangs production, it proved to be in effecctive in all accounts. Barrios 18, just like there rival MS-13, would have Central America in a Strangle hold for more than 20 years. With many members being involved in extrotion within prison and on the outside.
